Overall, my dual experience as a USCG veteran and a government contracting consultant uniquely positions me to provide valuable insights and support to business owners navigating the intricacies of government procurement.
What you enjoy most about working at FedBiz: I enjoy the Problem-Solving. Government contracts involve intricate requirements, regulations, and unique challenges. Solving these puzzles—whether it’s navigating compliance, strategizing, or development—can be intellectually stimulating. Also, seeing desired results. When a client wins a contract or achieves their goals, it’s a tangible outcome of our efforts. Celebrating those victories can be incredibly rewarding!
Can you share a fun fact about yourself that might surprise your colleagues? I am a ridiculously FAST swimmer. 🏊🏽
What, or who, are you a “closet” fan of? I am a “closet” fan of J.R.R. Tolkien. I own every book he and his son have ever written and read all of them. Since I was 16, I have read the Lord of the rings™ Trilogy (including The Hobbit ™) every year.
What’s your favorite way to unwind after a busy week? I will pile all my gear and family in my truck, drive to the beach, and spend the entire day enjoying the sun! 🌞
What is the nerdiest thing you do in your spare time? I play Rocket League (a video game) and I run an eSports league for anyone over 30 years old. 🏎️
