Experience: I have a total of 6 years experience certifying clients obtaining their Women Owned Small Business, Veteran Owned Small Business, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Economically Disadvantaged Women Owned Small Business, 8(a), HUBZone, and Minority Business Enterprise Certifications. I worked 13 years for the YMCA supervising the YMCA Kids Club. Some of my most memorable years was when I worked as the buyer for a Jewelry store in Los Angeles. The 10 years I work there I met many fascinating people and traveled all over, even to Mexico, to purchase silver jewelry.
What do you enjoy most about working at FedBiz Access: I take great pride and satisfaction in my clients being awarded their certifications and, after being awarded, experiencing their sales grow and financially benefiting from their certifications. The staff at FedBiz Access are all incredible professionals and have a extensive knowledge of government contacting. I love what I do and working with our team.
What was your favorite TV show when growing up? Gilligan’s Island
What was your childhood nickname? Ceil
Have you ever met anyone famous? Yes, many. Eddie Murphy, who came into Shane’s Jewelry with 5 body guards to buy a 2-karat diamond and stuck it into the plate of an 18-karat nugget ID bracelet (remember those?). I’ve also met Mister T, Heather Locklear, and Robin Williams at the Comedy Club (I actual spilled my drink on him!).
