The federal government’s new fiscal year began October 1, 2021 (“FY 2022”) and spending at the Department of Veteran’s Affairs (the “VA”) is off to a fast start with over $1.37 Billion in newly signed awards on Day 1 with 1,786 business.

Of the total awards 27.6% were made to small businesses across various categories including IT, Professional Services, Medical, Facilities & Construction, and Transportation & Logistics.
