National Medal of Honor Day

National Medal of Honor Day

Today is National Medal of Honor Day, a time to remember the 3,506 heroes who have received the nation’s highest award for valor in action against enemy forces.  In these extraordinary times, it is important to remember those who came before us and sacrificed so much for our nation.

The Medal of Honor is the United States of America’s highest and most prestigious personal military decoration that may be awarded to recognize U.S. military service members who have distinguished themselves by acts of valor.  The Medal of Honor is the oldest continuously issued combat decoration of the United States’ armed forces and is normally awarded by the President of the United States in the name of the U.S. Congress.  We are forever grateful for the service of these brave men and women, as well as all veterans, and will never forget their sacrifice.

We here at FedBiz Access honor that sacrifice and proudly offer a support service to help Veteran-Owned Small Businesses “VOSB” and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses “SDVOSB” (collectively “(SD)VOSB”) expedite registration for the VA certification as a VOSB or SDVOSB business eligible for certain federal contracts set-aside specifically under the (SD)VOSB designation.

We encourage everyone to take the time to thank a veteran today and every day for their service and sacrifice. – God Bless America!
